This is my second time here. It’s great value and convenient for me in my travels between North Carolina and upstate New York. The place is clean, friendly and convenient. They’re going through some renovations right now, but nothing that negatively affects the stay. No-frills but there is plenty of everything that is needed. Plenty of towels, soap… Well kept and organized. Very clean!

I'm sorry but this is the worst motel I have ever laid eyes on. It looked like it was in the middle of some sort of renovation, but seriously a torch is what it needs. We could not stomach even going into the office to tell them we were cancelling. We bolted and drove all the way home. Just got in a few minutes ago before 2 AM. Enzo

Liked all one level property and being able to park right in front of our door. right off highway, can hear big trucks. ceiling fan in bathroom terribly loud. no travel products provided other than soap. towels were the cheapest and thinnest I've even seen. if you're looking for a cheap bed and a shower only, it's good enough.

If it is just a quick basic over night it is fine. It needs a lot of repairs. They only have soap...No Shampoo/Conditioner No Hair dryer, No Extra Pillows No Extra Blankets. (We asked and they said they do not have) Door stuck on carpet hard to pull open. Close to where we were going for cheap and that is what we got.

update the pictures to reflect what is really being shown For $139 I could’ve stayed somewhere cleaner. Cigarette burns throughout the whole cover sheet bed.

Knights Inn advertises as Pet Friendly which is why I booked. So I booked and paid for a King bed and was very disappointed at check-in when I was told I could not have a king bed because I had a pet. I couldn’t get a queen bed, they could only offer double beds. The bedding in this room was dirty and the bedspread should have been thrown out. Filthy and torn. Would not recommend this Inn.

This hotel is advertised as pet friendly with a $20 pet fee. Nowhere was it stated on the website that animals not welcomed in jacuzzi rooms. Myself and my boyfriend arrived with our dog Baby and was at that time told dogs not allowed in jacuzzi rooms. IT SHOULD BE WRITTEN SOMEWHERE IN ON THE SITE. We had to at last minute find a overnight caretaker for our dog at a additional expense. This cost us a extra expense, time, travel. Not happt.

we are a pet friendly hotel. unfortunately, certain rooms are not pet friendly. when writing this review you really need to tell the truth. you snuck your dog in the room and we had to lose money on the jacuzzi room to have it professional cleaned to accomodate guests who have allergies to pets..

The property was close to shopping, restaurants, gas stations, and the interstate. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean and in good shape. The outside of the building had cracks and signs of wear and is in need of some renovation. I would stay again.

The staff was friendly. The beds were hard and the pillows were too small. There was also a weird smell in the room. It was the cheapest place to stay in the area so we weren’t expecting too much anyways.

The property, building and housekeeping was perfect in this price range. The highway location had poor walkability. Restaurant choices were acceptable if you want fast food. Expedia lost my reservation so I could not correct my reservation from smoking to non-smoking. I suggest you skip the middle man and reserve directly with the motel.

Nice place to stay
Our one night stay was great. When I checked in the couple was very nice. Our room was clean and no funny smells. Plenty of warm water in the shower. TV was a little small and would have been nicer if mounted on the wall as it was hard to watch from bed with it sitting on the dresser. The bed was pretty hard but they usually are. All in all it was a good stay and we slept well. Would stay there again if passing through that area.

The place is dated but well taken care of for how old it is. Staff was pleasant and helpful, and the location was convenient--right off the highway and close to some food options and gas stations. Affordable, quiet, and good for getting some sleep and a shower on a long road trip.

HORRIBLE SERVICE AND WORSE EOI.
I reserved the King size smoking room at 3am as I was on the road. I did not arrive until 8am due to traffic. I wanted a shower and a couple of hours sleep before getting back on the road. They did not have my room I paid for. NO KING SIZE OR SMOKING. She refused to return my money. The first room they gave me the key did not work and the handle was real loose. She gave me a key to a different room. It also did not work. The key worked for the 3rd non smoking room and when I opened the door it smelled bad, worse than if it was a smoking room. The cover had 8-10 cigarette burns and I saw what looked like bed bugs at the top of the mattress. I took my shower and left. Then they would only give me a receipt for the amount they received and not the amount I paid through their website.
