"It's over 100-years old and has a lot of original, unique features that are very cool. Air conditioning is in the bedrooms (thank heavens) and kept the rooms very nice. The halls and all can feel a bit muggy on a hot day, but overall, outstanding and wonderful."

"The staff was exceptional; as was the eco-friendly outdoor atmosphere; my only concern for future visits is I reserved the rhododendron room on Expedia but was given the bike room upon arrival!!! Not sure, nor do I care about the cost but I think the rhododendron room has a queen size bed and the room I stayed in only has a full size bed; not a deal breaker though!!!!!"

"We stayed here for three nights for our anniversary and it was amazing!! The service was exceptional and the food was excellent. They are very attentive to dietary needs. We stayed in the Royal Hideaway room with the jetted tub and it was well worth the extra splurge. The location is very convenient to downtown and to the Biltmore, but still tucked away in a quiet neighborhood.
