"Shower in room was very bad. There is no shower door causing leaking outside shower. Pool chair cushions were all stained and in poor condition. Breakfast was terrible. Staff was nice."

"I walked in, and it took 5 minutes to get acknowledged, with 5 people behind the counter. Then I was informed of multiple rules that were not stated on the website. Mandatory cash deposit with no working ATMs on the premises. I was told to go to Stripes because there were no exceptions. The website said my check out time was at 11am, but was told I had to be out by 10am regardless of what the website said. After questioning it, they said it wasn’t their fault the website wasn’t updated. Was charged $40 for access to a pool party that I was unaware of, and had no intention of going to. After all was said and done, it took me 50 minutes to check in. Wasting almost an entire day with the check in time being 4pm. I’m not a spring breaker and planed this trip to propose to my now fiancé. The room had no microwave, and had no view of the beach after the website said there was. (The room faced the South, and the ocean is to the East) They were drilling and banging upstairs doing what sounded like renovations from 12pm-5pm. I was okay with the loud music from the pool, but renovations for over 5 hours right above my room? Overall the experience was a disappoint, and will not be spending my money here again."

"Hotel smelled good. Clean room. A couple of minutes walk to the beach. Not far at all. Could see the beach from the side of the balcony we stayed in. Just have 1 complain which was with a staff in the restaurant. I ordered 2 drinks inside of the restaurant. He got 4-5 orders from the window and made the drinks. I was waiting for a long time for my drinks. Until I told him if I had to go through the window to get a faster service. That's when he started my drinks. Other than that everything was perfect. "

"The hotel and room itself was good. There was no issues with our room or the location however, we showed up and immediately was told we needed wristbands for safety concerns. No biggie, we figured it was common at large resorts. What is ridiculous, is these wristbands costed $25 and were only needed for anyone between 10 and 32 years old. What was even more annoying was if we wanted to use credit card to pay for these wristbands it would actually be closer to $30 or $35 - none of this was listed in the booking. Then after we paid $125 for our 5 wrist bands (in cash) we were told we could only have 1 parking pass and the other car would have to be in public parking which is halfway down the island. We asked if we could pay for another pass and they said no. - once again. This was not mentioned in the listing. Another annoyance of the stay was our towel situation. We had 5 adults in the room, and are staying at a place with a beach, and 3 pools. I figured the place would have some sort of beach/pool towels… nope. So when asked if we could have additional towels to take to the beach we were told our room did not qualify to get more towels because we had a washer/dryer in the room. WHAT. That makes no sense, I understand that there is a washer dryer and it would be convenient for the hotel but come on. We would need to take our sandy towels back to our room, run an hour cycle (at least) and then once the clean towels are done, then take a shower. That’s just ridiculous. "
