"The breakfast could be better. Seems every Wyndham hotel I stay in have the same breakfast every day. A little variety would be nice. Not really worth getting up early for. Also, some close at 9:00 and others at 9:30. Consistency would be nice."

"The staff was very kind and helpful. My mother came to visit me on the island but she needs a walker to get around and could not go up the steps at my home. I booked a room at the Islander for my mother and sister. I requested a handicap that faced the ocean, there were none. I booked the last room with 2 beds that faced the ocean it was in the 7th building the furthest from the elevator. When we checked in Lori the desk clerk I had spoken to had placed my mother in the 2nd build on the 2nd floor right across from the elevator. She had a perfect view of the ocean from the room and the balcony. She was also closer to the lobby and breakfast area. Wonderful people and service."

"We had an oceanfront room. View was amazing. First room we were given smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. We went back to the front desk and were immediately moved to another room that smelled much better. We were only there one night so didn’t get to experience any of the amenities. I would stay here again"
