The room was dirty; there was a black ring around the toilet bowl which would have taken a while to build; the toilet seat and under the lid were wet; the toilet ran every few minutes all night (leaky flapper?); the surfaces in the room were sticky/dirty; the walls were generally in poor condition (not a big deal if the room was clean); the man who checked me in was professional, helpful and personable."
