We stayed 3 nights to celebrate a special birthday. The staff, hotel and restaurant were first class and went out of their way to make our experience special. We took a taxi to Zermaat from a nearby town and the hotel sent a horse and carriage to collect us. The location of the hotel was fantastic for the wonderful town and for views of the Matterhorn from our room. We have worked and holidayed around the world and therefore stayed in many five star hotels and our experience at this hotel was...

Very pretty hotel perfect service, I 'll come back soon!

Great hospitality from host Paola

Beautiful gardens, fantastic food and super-friendly staff, particularly in the restaurant. Pet-friendly (not just tolerated), we’d be happy to return.

Lovely place amazing friendly staff ! Highly recommend

Fantastic hotel, fantastic location!!! You couldn't be any closer to the slopes without staying on the slopes. Very nice hotel, great facilities. Huge choice for breakfast. Rocco in the bar is a star. Some people have moaned about how hot it is in the rooms and yes it was warm but if you open the window a little it's fine..... Who'd have thought that......

Helpful receptionists, good room, very large and clean, could do with coffee making facilities Would stay again.

Only stayed too few hours. Great location. Turn-of-last-century bourgeois country home turned into one of the most personality laden B&B or hotel I have ever visited. I wish I had more time to enjoy it. Enormous TV screen, Very generous dimensions. Lovely bath/toilet area. Even has a walk-in closet! Two minor "negative" remarks: I would have preferred squeezed orange to the juice at hand and a more responsive internet. Apart from that, memorable.

Nice luxury hotel, attentive staff, fantastic food. I did not like to see people hanging around in bath robes at breakfast or lunch, I know it is a resort/SPA but it is really not necessary to avoid the basic effort of getting dressed. La Rei restaurant is superb.

Good value getaway in Piedmont. I felt staff - whether at hotel, restaurant or winery - could have been reminded that service and friendly attitude was important- smiles, “good mornings” etc. Breakfast ok - supposedly gourmet - not really - just omelette or scrambled eggs made to order…

Staff were attentive, welcoming and helpful. Food is fantastic and the views are spectacular. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing hotel with wonderful staff

From start to finish. This hotel was a dream. Everything you see is what you get and a bit more. The staff were all so lovely and polite. They made an extra effort on my birthday which I did not even tell them about. Room service was great and always came back to a treat and tidy room. The breakfast was top tier, loads of variety and great quality. My room was beautiful with a picturesque mountain view. Very quiet and homely hotel. Running out of words to describe this place but overall was a...
