The area is the best you will find in central Lugano. There is a funicular next to the hotel taking you directly to Lugano train station. The lake is 200m walk. The service is as good as any hotel I have ever been. The staff and very friendly and helpful. They helped me plan my trip to the two main Lugano mountains. Garden & pool area

Super friendly and accommodating staff. The views you get from this hotel were probably some of the best we got to see during our time in Como.

Really nice hotel with excellent rooms and gardens. The rooms are air conditioned and spacious with comfortable beds and a private balcony. Taking breakfast in the well tended garden was a joy.

Pictures do not do this place justice. The garden view is amazing with visibility of lake lugano and the distant mountains. Such a beautiful hotel. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. I loved the breakfast, it's simple but very tasty. I highly recommend this hotel

We stayed in the penthouse suite which i think must sleep 5 or 6 (it had 3 bedrooms). The hotel sits on the edge of Lake Maggiore and from the “balcony” of the suite the views were amazing. The hotel is only a couple of minutes walk from the train station. We were there for the moon & stars festival and the hotel is right at the end of the food street but we weren’t disturbed at all when we went to sleep.
