"We just stayed one night - the owners collected us from the train station which was helpful with a lot of luggage and a wheelchair. Owners are very friendly and helpful. The room was large and comfortable for us 3 adults, with an elevator for easy accessibility. As the room was on the top floor there were skylights with windows and blinds that could be electronically opened. There were plenty of other windows, with a great view to the mountains, but you need to bend a little to see through them...

The location on the north end of Lake Como and the short distance to transportation to the rest of the lake is awesome. "The staff and food was all great. The location is very good except when it is a weekend with the party people circling the hotel until after midnight. I do remember when I was young so having earplugs does help. I would suggest they take the bright green light off of the phone on the wall as it lights up the whole room. "First, be aware that you need to follow ALL of the signs that say, “Runchee.” Your GPS/Apple Maps/Google maps will NOT take you to the hotel/B&B. Parking is easy. Find the place is not. Breakfast: if your idea of breakfast is bread and butter, coffee and cake, then you’re in business. Don’t expect a real meal. I paid in advance and the lady running the place chased me down to pay for my stay. Mistakes happen."

"We spent 2 days at Luganodante during a 2 week trip to Italy/Switzerland. I highly recommend staying at this property. The location is centrally located to enjoy the lake, shopping and dining. Easy walk from train station but easy in and out of the garage if you have a car. Very clean, nice lobby bar and restaurant. The staff was very helpful and spoke multiple languages. The full breakfast was included and it was amazing. A wonderful experience all around. "
