Property is on the quiet part of the island and is not party town which is nice, but this makes relatively long trips for excursions. The beach is close across the street very nice, and a nice walk to the Siriat National Park. The ruins of the Tsunami damaged building remain, ugly. The inner walk of the hotel is nice with a nice view of the swamp along the walk beautiful. Pool is awesome and beautiful. Hotel restaurant is slow, expensive and runs out of menu items. Breakfast is good but eat off property for lunch and dinner.

This hotel needs serious maintenance. Restaurant has good selection of Thai dishes and very friendly staff. However, breakfast buffet was very disappointing where the bowls and fruits were empty whilst the staff were mainly watching without filling them up! Got the impression that they have been told to do so…something that you barely see in Phuket. Overall average rating, we had better experience with the same rates in other hotels, so can’t be about the lower rate per night.

Very poor maintenance of the building. Expedia says 4.5 star, but feels like 3.5 star hotel. Extremely long hallway, takes over 5 minutes to go to lobby or dinning area. Too far from everything, ride to airport is far even though is only couple of miles away. There is an empty shell building that looks terrible. Photos are misleading.

The resort is absolutely beautiful. Our room was clean and large and comfortable. The restaurant for dinner was wonderful. Good variety and quality. Service was excellent. Breakfast was incredible and quite varied. When we were ill the staff helped us out. The laundry was excellent, and we found our clothes delivered to our room, ironed and hung in the closet. Extra help with scheduling a trip and transportation back to the airport. The beach is almost deserted, and not very clean. Water is warm. The pool was warm and clean and very relaxing!

The staff was so sweet and the hotel was lovely!! The pool bar was one of our favorite hangouts. Breakfast was delicious and their green curry is spectacular.

Property is beautiful however distance from anything is far. Because of this there is No one at hotel. Lack of people equal lack of care of things .. breakfast quality was very very low and i only eat dinner 1 time in open air Hot dining room. I ended up getting a stomach bug where i can only assume from food quality and ended up eating fried rice in my rooms for 4 days ... i ended up changing locations when i felt better and lost remaining 10days booked at hotel due to "policy"
