"A Thai resort that blends traditional and modern styles, set in a quiet, isolated village. Friendly staff, a clean room (Zone 1), and enjoyable dining with live music made for a pleasant stay. The only downside was the bathroom odor, likely coming from the drain. "

"This is a hidden gem. Cabanas in a beautiful setting on a moat by the river entrance to the lake. Almost empty because tourism hasn’t come back here like the rest of the country. Amazing staff, good food, great prices and they’ll arrange a tour to Thale Noi too. A highlight of our trip."

"I paid $6. You get what you pay for. I got a bed, a cold-water shower with towels, a toilet, and a fan (no airconditoning). I was traveling alone and that's what I wanted. The place is old and beat to death. Good location. The owner is an old unfriendly grumpy unsmiling guy - but I wasn't staying there to make friends. Noisy AF - and especially so early in the morning. Not much to do in the town - but OK to walk around for 1/2 day. I found a good dim sum place for breakfast. If you are looking for a cheap and convenient place (an nothing more) this place is fine. "
