Neighbored is poor and working class, but I never felt threatened or uncomfortable. I was able to get every where I wanted to go for $5.00 US or less. "The setting of Batad Pension is unbelievably beautiful. It’s worth the trek in to spend the night there and really enjoy Batad. In addition, the owner is lovely and warm, cooks lovely food, and goes out of her way to be helpful to her visitors. I highly recommend Batad Pension and Restaurant"

"The room was nice & everything was working, but the property as a whole seemed somewhat neglected - it needed a fresh coat of paint and some maintenance. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but were not eager to clean my room - still, they provided fresh towels and bedding when requested. Breakfast was simple but tasty. "The location is very accessible by the public it on the main city proper..Thats why the parking is the problem if you park late like 8PM then its hard to find spot for parking"

"Toiletries etc are not in room, mouse in room, the room requires updating lots of old linen bed etc, very poor condition, relatively cheap. Surrounding area full of bad manner children always demanding money. "

"You get what you pay for. The room was surprisingly big. Aged but working bathroom. Mattress is soft, so those with back problems, be aware. The surrounding feels a but unsafe and dodgy. Even though its a buys main street but it feels like you've been watched."
