I always enjoy my stays at this hotel at the very heart of Philadelphia. Nice rooms, helpful and friendly staff, decent breakfast and a welcome drink form a great package. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel with historic charm located in the middle of a very cute neighborhood with bars and restaurants. The hotel had social night event where they were offering free wine and snacks. I loved our stay here.

Such a charming hotel! Stayed for two nights - the staff was wonderful and our room was cozy. They held our bags before check in so we could explore, and were helpful with suggestions on things to do. The happy hour and continental breakfasts are nice offerings. Location is central but still quiet.

Staff was wonderful. It was great having an evening special and small continental style breakfast. My only complaint was the bathroom certainly could and should have been cleaner. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

What a nice hotel,,,real character in a historic neighborhood. The room was very comfortable, including the king size bed. The social hour with wine, beer, & a wide variety of snacks led, was a classy touch.

Check in was easy. The staff was very nice. The location is great for walking all over downtown Philadelphia! And the evening snack-and-wine was a nice touch. My TV did not work and there was a large wrinkle in the carpet in my room which tripped me a couple of times on the first night.

Our stay was brief but pleasant. The staff was very helpful. The room was small - cozy, but perfectly sufficient for my husband and me. The location was great. The walk to the parking garage was only a couple blocks; as long as you don't have a ton of luggage, it's very doable.

It’s an older hotel (it’s Philadelphia!) and the decor reflects that, but it’s clean, comfortable, the staff was fantastic, and they offer a happy hour as well as breakfast. We had a really leaky sink faucet but housekeeping brought extra towels and once reported, the desk clerk but it on the maintenance list right away. The location is fantastic to walk to so many good restaurants and it has great proximity to old town for the tourist stuff. I would go back!

Even though the room may have come across a bit dated, it was clean and smelt nice. All staff friendly. Breakfast is very basic but does the trick to start one’s day, the coffee was actually rather good. Check-out time as stated but got a courtesy call and an extra hour which I really appreciated. The hotel’s location is good, walking distance to some of the main city attractions, many bars/restaurants/coffee shops around. Safe to walk around.

The property had antique charm, excellent location, and helpful staff. The breakfast and happy hour were just right. It was noisy but I don’t live in a city so maybe that’s just me!
