I chose this property for its location and they offered a suite option. They even kindly sent through a visual walk-thru of the jnr suite. On arrival, after checking in, the room sadly wasnt as described. Most of the furniture in the suite was very worn, stained and old. The small kitchen area had a fridge and microwave but no utensils, plates etc. The air conditioning units were very noisy indeed and couldnt be turned down. The layout was basically two rooms with one of the rooms having the bed removed. I contacted the hotel to share my upset, as was quite expensive and initially told that was "normal wear and tear" and to be expected. They did then reduce the room rate and offered free breakfasts for my stay. Then due to "computer error" checked me out 2 days before i should have been, charged me for breakfasts and re charged my card for the remaining 2 nights, so there were two "fund holds" on my card which i wasnt happy with. Marriott usually are very good indeed but this one fell below. All the staff were friendly and did try to help, but errors just kept on happening. I hope both the suite condition and processes are looked into for any other person staying there.
