No dining options as restaurant wasn’t open, took ages to get someone to check me in and then advised Peterborough services on the A1 for a meal at KFC or McDonalds. Breakfast was good as was the service
Great rooms, with extremely comfortable beds and lovely touches including the radio on when entering and a note from the cleaning team.
Breakfast was delicious and the team could not do enough for you to ensure your stay was perfect.
Beautiful room in a pub. Great food. Very easy place to me
Room was gorgeous - although I found the pillows very solid
So close to A1M so great for transport links
Ample parking
This hotel is really lovely . Housekeeping do a great job . . Very clean and tidy . Our room was lovely and extra heating was put on for our arrival . Lots of lovely extras in the room , chocolate , different types of coffee and teas etc.
My review would have been 5* apart from a couple of small issues . It was a Longer than usual check in as no one on reception and no note telling you to go to bar which did appeared next day .
Breakfast room same issue no one around for about 10 minutes . We Would have liked fresh fruit available or while fruits without having to ask .
Apart from this a lovely lovely quiet stay and a really nice public bar too .
Centre of old village . Very near A 1 , no noise at all . A great nights sleep in a very comfortable bed .
Nice style property, older period building but nicely remodelled in bathrooms which is good. The area I didn’t explore as I was there for one night. The hotel is lovely and staff very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay again. Restaurant very nice also.
As other reviews found staff at the bell very friendly, helpfully, polite and efficient. They seem well motivated.
Ate in the bar on a Sunday evening, food was excellent as was breakfast following morning.
Rooms are a bit on the snug side but very clean comfortable and well equipped.
Over all very happy with stay and value for money, will look to stay with Coaching inns again on our travels.
Lovely small hotel with outstanding service and happy friendly staff who clearly enjoy their jobs and work well together. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are traditional but very comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Wide choice of gins very welcome by me! Dinner was of a good standard.
Lovely old hotel with lots of little seating areas, very interesting. Very friendly helpful staff. The food was excellent. We will definitely look forward to staying again.
We had an excellent stay. This was a perfect gem of a find and will definitely be staying again. Our room was beautiful and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff.
Second time here (so I must like it!). The restaurant / and food - are great. Staff are courteous and helpful. Room is clean and comfortable. Convenient and quiet location not very far from A1.
Stayed for one night to break up a journey up north and were super impressed with this place. Lovely cosy room in a beautiful building. Breakfast was delicious and all the staff were very friendly. We got delayed due to traffic and they held our table for dinner so we would not go hungry that night. Fish and chips from the restaurant and some tasty ice cream was just what we needed when we got there.
Unexpectedly lovely find. Although the room was small, there were nice little touches that made up for that. Scrupulously clean and beds were very comfortable. Extremely friendly staff and The Best breakfast.
Very friendly welcome on check in and very informative.
Rooms very clean and tidy.
Took the option of a bar meal and was very happy with my meal.
Would definitely look to book the Bell hotel again on my travels to the area
