"Wish I could upload pictures. Bathroom shower mold everywhere, ventilation on wall covered in dirt and hair!!! Smell of mold in the air. Fire alarm missing covers, lamps not working. Disappointed to call this an Embassy experience! Get it together Birmingham!"

"Terrible! I don’t know who gave an excellent review for this place. They got to be playing for reviews. It is run down and shabby, my bedding smelled of mold and mildew, no hot water, the bathroom was nasty. The toilet was disgusting. Overall horrible experience never again. So disappointing "

"I stayed here with my 11 year old child. There was a used needle in our room. The manager of the establishment even admitted that he didn’t know if the rooms had been cleaned prior to me entering. Disgusted"

"The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location near the airport was excellent. We left before breakfast so cannot comment on that. Our biggest complaint was that the door into our room dragged so badly on the floor that it could not be opened the entire way. And when we mentioned it the next morning we were told it was a known problem! Why assign us that room then? The hotel did not appear to be full. This the poor rating."

"Room was clean except for items left in freezer from previous guest. Seriously no frills at this location. Stayed for three nights. No housekeeping for your rooms, had to go to front desk for toilet tissue as there was less than a full roll and no extra in room. Continental breakfast, better get there super early or it’s gone by 7:15am. They say they only have “one box per day” and once it’s gone it’s gone. Maybe not put it all out at 6am? Price hiked up this weekend because of college graduation but was still over $120 a night and it’s normally $55. At least it was in a decent location. Staff was nice."

"They ran out of clean towels. Staff didn’t know if the pool was open or not. Asked for a basketball for the basketball hoop and was told it’s not available for use, though it was sitting right behind the front desk"
