"Our stay at the Typikala Boutique Hotel had some positives, but overall did not match a four-star experience.
The staff was kind—Victor the bellboy was especially helpful, and the front desk and housekeeping teams were pleasant. Breakfast was decent.
However, the bathroom had a strong sewage smell throughout our stay, making it very uncomfortable. The overall condition of the room also felt worn and below standard.
At around $100/night, expectations are lower, but labeling this as a four-star hotel is misleading. It felt closer to a two-star property. Because of the odor issue, we would not stay here again."
