We arrived early after a 6 hour drive and expected we’d have to wait around a few hours until check in but we were surprised to notice that the key had been made available a lot earlier which was lovely. "We stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms, it was very well kept and comfortable, we were only there for one night, but would stay again. One thing is lack of parking, need to pre book as there are limited spaces, but the train station is less than a 2 min walk away, so for us it wasn’t a problem as we parked there instead."

"I really enjoyed my three night stay here. The room was spacious, and came with a bottle of water and a biscuit. It was centrally located to explore the south coast of Cornwall. Saint Michael’s Mount is a mile and a half away. You can catch the bus right outside or walk if you don’t mind it. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had great water pressure and heat. I didn’t eat at the inn but it often smelled good! The car park can fill up if you’re out late, which I was when I saw a show at the Minack theatre. But I squeezed in. I had everything I needed here!"

"An amazing hotel in a beautiful setting and we will certainly revisit one day without hesitation. The only downside for me would be the dinner menu which was a bit uninspiring and safe. Saying that, they do have a lot of people staying so I guess it needs to be a functional menu, St Ives offers many restaurants so if you are after a bit of flare, wander down into the main town."
