"hotel was definitely turned into a chain hotel and lost the integrity of what the diplomat used to be. the adult pool was not cleaned daily, staff at the beach were very helpful and accommodating. However, staff at guest/bell services were unpleasant."

"The hotel is great! New and clean. Only downside is the parking and no shuttle to airport. If you are traveling light, the airport is 7 minutes walk or $15 uber ride. There is valet parking. The staff was very helpful. My son left his Fitbit and the staff was able to recover and ship it back to me. ..."
