"From the moment we drove into the Palm Spa and Golf Resort, it was clear we had made the wrong choice. The driveway and entrance were uninviting, and a posted notice stating that the building was not safe immediately raised concerns. Despite signage advertising free parking, we were charged $8.00 for overnight parking. At check‑in, the front desk emphasized that the property was non‑smoking, yet the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. It was obvious that an attempt had been made to mask the odor, but the result was overwhelming and uncomfortable. After requesting a room change, the second room was not much better—there was no security chain on the door, only two visible cameras in the hallway, and the room had a persistent, unpleasant odor. Unfortunately, because I had an event to attend at 6 PM, I had no time to find alternative accommodations. Returning later that night, around 11 PM, the property was poorly lit and did not feel safe. There was no internet connection, even though I was assured the tv would worked- did not- no internet Based on my experience, I would not recommend this resort."
