"We were lucky to have found a great rate because typical rate is slightly outside what I would want to expense for business. Having stayed at many Birmingham hotels in the area, the Elyton is the class of the bunch. Older buildings are rare to find in such excellent shape and the property feels more restored than renovated. The location is in the heart of all our favorite restaurants/bars. Rooftop deck is best in town. Service was very good. Coming back for our anniversary."

"Nice facilities and warm staff. The breakfast and light dinner were sufficient for full meals for both me and my 8 year old. Loved the indoor/ outdoor pool and overall a nice atmosphere. Conveniently located to many attractions, a short drive from downtown Birmingham and world class shopping close by. Would definitely stay here again."

"Really enjoyed the complimentary drinks at the bar & breakfast. The advertise balcony is about 1.5 foot wide. Which wasn’t a big deal, just would have enjoyed to sit outside in the mornings. My only complaint really would be regarding the cleanliness of the room. We had fruit flies inside the coffee maker. We had put it outside the room to try and get rid of them in the room, but we had issues with them the entire time. Also, there were dead bugs on the floor along the wall & someone’s dirty under wear hanging on the back of the bathroom door. Other than that, our stay was fine."
