"The hotel (including our room) was clean and well-maintained. The staff was excellent; polite, friendly and very helpful with directions and suggestions. Also very attentive whenever we had an issue. The breakfast included a good variety, but it was the same everday, which wasn't great for us because we stayed for a week. We also had some issues with our door lock, which they tried to fix but had to order the part. To be fair, they did offer to move us to another room."

"We loved our stay at the Whale Guest House -- we stayed in the Blue House. It was easy to find and check in/out, impecably clean, comfortable bed and shower, and has amazing views of the surrounding bay and open ocean in the distance from inside and the outdoor patios. The host / staff were incredibly helpful before hand with information on local restraunts and things to see or do (including boat local boat tour recommendations), and we arrived earlier than planned and allowed us to check in in advance which was greatly appretiated. On our final night we treated ourselves to an amazing hot tub under the full harvest moon reflecting over the Atlantic - it was a perfect way to wrap up our stay in Newfoundland. Thank you!"
