Room was perfect for what we needed - shower was great and the room was clean everyday. The staff were very helpful. Restaurant is very good!

we stayed for one night it is more like business hotel , it was in good location (some moles around and 30 minutes drive to the air port ) plenty of free parking lots , and a modern building. the Hotel is charging extra's for the use of the SPA , also we wanted to eat some Pizza which we bought out side and the restorant worker did not let is seat in front of the resturant ... so we need to eat it at our room. beside that the Hotel was very nice.

Beautiful hotel, very modern, very clean. Comfy beds, beautiful pool. Breakfast very nice selection of hot and cold food. Staff and service exceptional. Price reasonable. Only downside is expensive drinks from poolside bar.

We loved our stay at Donna Carmela, beautiful boutique hotel, no expense has been spared in making it as nice as possible. Staff were charming, and the off season prices were very reasonable. That part of Sicily is very built up but the hotel is an oasis of peace.

We enjoyed our stay here. Room was good although our shower was quite dated/small. Hotel and staff were very good as was the food.

We stayed here at the end of our Sicilian trip and used it as a base for both the north and south approach to Etna. It was just the bit of luxury we needed. Stayed here for 4 nights with friends. Drove past the entrance on arrival and had to take a detour to get back to it but once we arrived what a lovely surprise. The hotel staff are lovely. Our rooms both had French doors that led out onto the garden which was a nice place to gather and have a drink in the evening. Excellent throughout. Close enough to enjoy the city center (15mins by car) and beach (20mins by car), without getting caught up in the hustle and bustle of crowds. Exceptional staff, both caring and informative.

We travelled for the last two weeks of August 2015 touring Sicily and stayed here for 3 nights (23 Aug 2015 - 26 Aug 2015). It was the best hotel we stayed in for the whole duration and far better than Grand Palace Hotel in Marsala which was a disappointment given that it is a 5 Star place. I ended up being stranded due to the airport closure. I booked my hotel on Expedia in a rush at the airport and when I arrived it turned out I book it for October. The staff were wonderful and accommodated me as they could see I was in stressed safe. I then had to extend my stay as the airport was closed another day, I changed my room to a suite and the suite was incredible, totally amazing and was glad I got to experience it The staff made my stay so compassionate and understanding. There are absolutely no negatives about this hotel. It is family run, everyone was so friendly, the service was exceptional and it was very clean both inside the hotel and outside around the swimming pool. There was plenty of choice for breakfast, providing that you appreciate that it is in Sicily and not England, and the evening meal we had in the hotel restaurant was excellent and very reasonable. 10 out of 10 experience, my only advice is for the hotel to start modernise the interior before it gets to the point were people feel it is an outdated hotel. I would retouch the rooms with some plaster and withe paint, and change the carpets that look have been layed 40 years ago. I would have expected a fine dining experience at the restaurant, instead I found QR code rather than a good old and timeless paper menu, and please do not serve condiments in a light blue plastic container, it...

Our stay was fabulous with nothing to fault it. Our host was looking out for us when we arrived, helped with parking and very welcoming. The apartment, room, and terrace were lovely with great attention to detail. Great breakfast. The accommodation was only minutes away from the duomo but also situated in a small very pretty square.
