A jewel in the middle of Basel. Location ideal . Service and room were high standatd

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, fresh and very colourful. Bed was very comfortable. Bar had plenty of choice. Enjoyed my breakfast.

Great place for a short stop over with secure parking and walking distance to the centre of Besancon.

Comfy room,clean tidy and practical for a family of 4

Hotel is in a fantastic location with the river on one side and an interesting street on the other. Our initial booking for one night was unexpectedly extended to four and we can't fault the service we have received here. There is no bar or restaurant within the hotel but step outside and the choice is amazing within a few meters. The Hotel Vauban offers continental breakfast with a good selection. Ideal location, modern clean hotel, great value

Perfect hotel - Booked this hotel due to its position as it was perfect for where we were going. The hotel was easy to find and the parking was offered in the underground garage - good for motorcyclist. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast again was first class and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

An exquisite hotel. 2 minor niggles, car parking erratic, in the woods, no tea coffee facilities in the rooms. Food 5 star quality, just would have liked to have been offered a menu instead of being told what has been set ( not good for non French speakers with a food intolerance or dislike of foie grasse). Fortunately I speak French and eat most things.
