Group hotel so dont stay here if you want peace and quiet.. poor quality breakfast and reception staff (except reception manager who was fabulous) are unfriendly and treat guests like thieves !! need a receptionist to unlock the lift to go down to the car park what a joke !!

Location of the hotel is near to Terminal 21 and also Tesco Lotus which is an advantage if you plan to take some brief walk to visit those malls. There aren't street food / hawker around the hotel, hence, for meals, you would need to visit those malls and their surrounding areas. There is a 7-11 nearby around 50m from the hotel which is a plus for you to get your snacks and other stuffs. Hotel isn't that friendly for small children as there are no baby seats available at dining area. Reception staffs and some breakfast staffs could be trained and improved further as I find some of them lack of welcoming and smiles. It doesn't reflect Thailand as a land of smile. Overall, most staffs are helpful and happy to greet you except for some with very obvious "black faces'. Maybe they were having a bad day. One negative thing to note was the breakfast time closed exactly at 10am. They would off the air conditioning and turn off the music and pull up all the window blinds making you extremely uncomfortable to even stay for another 10 minutes to finish up your coffee/tea. This is the only hotel I stayed among 50 over hotels that I have visited all these years to have such practice. This is a very bad and rude practice I would say. You can get your staffs to clear the buffet area and allow the guests to finish up whatever food or drinks they still have in comfortable way. A grace period of 15-20 minutes would be good as most guests would leave by then.

Nice hotel room and staff. Very friendly. Near terminal 21 shopping mall, walking distance. Room was very very huge. Booked a family room and was given two separate room , 3 bed on one side and 2 king bed at the other, fantastic offer, thank you very much.

Nice hotel but away
The hotel is quite far from the main area of Pattaya. There is a one way 'truck' to the tourist areas, but good luck getting back as many transports don't know the hotel. The hotel is very nice and clean.

Good stay at J Hotep Pattaya
The stay at J Hotel Pattaya was good - we picked the Suite due to our 2 young children - there was plenty of space for everyone. We ordered room service and we expected a typical hotel food, but the quality was excellent. The staff was helpful, and the swimming pool was nice.

I throughly enjoyed my 7 day stay. Upon arrival, I was impressed with the overall appearance of the facility and found the staff to be courteous, helpful and professional. The room was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Although the hotel is located a little off the beaten path, which was great for sleeping, enjoying a peaceful and tranquil moments or just relaxing; it was just a short walking distance to city center shopping, dining and nightlife. The beach and Walking Street are a longer walk or short taxi ride away. No complaints from this visitor!!!

A Good hotel at a good price
J Inspired is a nice hotel on North Pattaya Road (about a 10 min Song-toa ride to Central Festival Mall on Beach Rd). It is on it's own Soi, and shares its courtyard/pools with Hotel J. Overall, it is a nice hotel. The rooms are clean, the water pressure was good in the shower, and you get your own private balcony. Room service was more expensive than Thai street food (obviously), but less expensive than other hotels. The pools are both saltwater and nice...lounge chairs and covered love loungers a-plenty at pool side. The rooms are a bit on the sparse side and have a 'hard' feel to them (concrete, sharp edges), but that is part of the design. The bed is also on the harder side (by North American standards). Wifi was solid. Staff was friendly an helpful! The hotel is a bit far from the "action" but the hotel provides a shuttle song-toa 3 times a day to CentralFestival Mall. Make sure you arrange your way back to the hotel before you've had too many Singhas and you can't negotiate your way back (hotel not on main night song-toa route). 7-11 about 100m from hotel, and large Tesco-Lotus Mall/Department store about a 5-10min walk up N. Pattaya Rd. We would stay here again.

Honestly I expected more from this hotel considering the other reviews but this was my experience: check-in time is 2pm and I arrived 3:30pm, standing at front desk waiting to check-in I was ignored, after helping a large group that arrived after me the front desk staff told me to wait an additional 20 minutes because my room was not available yet, all arriving guests receive a welcome drink but they neglected to give me one, when I told them they forgot my welcome drink they apologized but still didn't respond by giving me a welcome drink, instead the lied to me and told me I was waiting the extra time for an upgraded room, when I was taken to the room it was a standard room with two twin beds pushed together to make a so called double bed, in addition to this lack of hospitality, the wifi was weak, the digital cable was spotty, and the hallways were noisy echoing every voice and door that closed... Honestly, I was not impressed with the experience J Inspired Hotel offered :-(

Great city hotel within walking distance to beach
Hotel staff were friendly and courteous when we arrived. The check-in process was quick. Hotel lobby was very clean, very large with many seating areas with modern designs language. We love the fact that the main lobby and the pool deck is interconnected. Our room was spacious and most importantly very clean. Our bathroom had a bathtub and a stand in shower. We loved the salt water pools and the wooden pool deck. The pool area is well integrated to their other swimming pool facility. There are total of 2 swimming pools within the facility. We loved the sereneness of the plaza space. It is well ventilated and very open but still provide privacy. There are areas with shades within the pool decks and many with direct sun light for those who like sunbathing. Breakfast buffet was very delicious with many options from American breakfast with freshly made omelet to Thai food. There were cereal, milk, fresh fruits and freshly brew coffee. We traveled with an 18-month old baby and we were able to feed the baby with their breakfast offerings. Our baby had a blast eating. Lastly, we thought the hotel was well planned with accessibility in mind. Our baby required the use of stroller and we were happy that the hotel facility has proper ramps that made it easy for us to move within the hotel. We never had to carry the stroller up the steps during our stay. Lastly, they offer scheduled shuttle service to Central Festival Pattaya.
