I had a great stay at Nipa resort ! Although it is an older property, but it is pretty good condition and the free breakfast and me to order eggs was great. They had enough food options for everyone including Thai breakfast in the morning as well as American breakfast too. The staff was helpful whenever I needed them. Kris was great to help me check out at 4:30 in the morning. The pool was lively, and I saw people of all ages, relaxing and chilling and reading books etc. it is very close to the Patong beach and walking distance is only about 8 to 9 minutes. Being a solo female traveler, I felt safe at this location. Overall, for the area I was in this was a nice hotel, and good value for money. I could possibly return here on my next trip. Thanks Nipa !

Great for the price, the staff was very lovely and friendly which is very important, so we are very grateful of their service and care. The building is overall very nice with thai style, nice pool, good size beds,confortable rooms and very good service clean!. Also very good located in Patong for walking distance. The only feedback to improve maybe more variety for the breakfast and also they were doing some renovations during the day, which makes bit too noisy in the rooms.

When do you the shower even will closing the shower curtain, the water still run at.the edge of the bathtub beside the wall. We have to put 2 towels to stop the water.

We just stayed at Nipa Resort and we loved it. Our family room was spacious and very clean.. beds were comfortable. The pool area was amazing and we used it every day. Breakfast was excellent and was changed up every day.. staff were so good, always smiling and so polite.

Good & basic resort
The resort has all the necessities, however when compared with other resorts it was quite basic. Breakfast was ordinary with selections changing daily. Only having one room card was a pain and we weren't allowed another one. Prices are a bit high for drinks and meals, however happy hour between 4-6pm was good. Even the price for a late check out was high. The pool is quite small when compared with the photos but it was nice to swim and relax. Location was good and a short walk from Patong Beach and Bangla Road. The free upgrade was nice and the service in general was good. It was good they held onto our luggage before our late flight for free.

Good points: - Location is great. Short walk to the craziness and all the bars and restaurants but just far enough away from it to not be a loud or seedy area. - Pool is great. It’s a decent size and a really nice temperature. Opening hours of the pool are 9am to 9pm - we had one of the new rooms in the newer building which was really nice. Pool view was very nice, size of the room was good facilities were newish. Bad Points: - The pool bar is ridiculously over expensive at 120thb per beer (around £3GBP). Everywhere else sells beer for between 50 and 80 baht. They also charge 80 baht (around £2GBP) for a can of coke which can be bought at the 7 eleven next door for less than 20 baht. - Some staff have an issue with you bringing your own food and drink to the hotel, which seems strange considering they sold me a self catering package. They were fine selling me this but then told me off for eating food from outside of the hotel. - Breakfast is awful. I’m not normally one to complain about breakfast in countries such as Thailand. With that said, most hotels offer a decent western breakfast option. In this case it’s only toast or eggs, there’s no bacon, sausage, beans etc, just curries, noodles, deep fried stuff etc. There is also some fruit and 2 choices or cereal. The juice options were lovely. I would skip breakfast at the hotel and head out of the hotel go left and follow the road until you see Lucky 13 opposite Bangla boxing stadium, they do good food!

Have instructions for my brothers arrival and when he arrived the hotel didn’t give him the key card even though I gave my brothers name and left key card behind reception for him. He had to wait 30 minutes till I could come back from my excursion !!

Wonderful.
We arrived at 10.30pm from Melbourne Australia feeling rather worn out,we where greeted by reception and made to feel welcome and comfortable from the get go.Our room was lovely and plenty big enough for two people.We slept very well on a comfortable bed,wondered down to breakfast and there was everything you could possibly want.After we went for a swim in the pool,the pool is fantastic,lots of shade areas to relax in,a very good size pool.there are many good restaurants close by,and the Nipa Restaurant had great food to.A really great place to stay,the staff,the pool,the food,we loved everything.We where quite sad to leave after 15 days.We can highly recommend this hotel.

Nice pool and poolside service. Room clean and well maintained. WiFi excellent. 10 minute walk to soi Bangla for nightlife and many restaurants on the way. Own restaurant somewhat soulless.

The staff was rude and Expedia was unhelpful. I booked a trip alone (female) and got a confirmation for the hotel. But once I arrived the hotel stated there was no reservation. The woman kept going to a back office to her manager but the manager never came out and I had proof of confirmation that they did not honor. They tried to tell me to pay cash and then call Expedia for my money back. Long story short, I finally had someone from back home get ahold of 6 different managers through Expedia before I got a refund and another hotel booked for me

It wasn't far from the airport and had a pool which was warm. Nice room the first time I stopped but second time the room smelt rather foisty but staff did come and squirt some air freshener which helped eliminate it some when I asked.
