If you are reading the Lonely Planet Northern California guide ignore what the reviewer says about this hotel and book it! The hotel is located in central Paso Robles within walking distance from local restaurants and is ideal for those wishing to explore this wine making region. The hotel is built around a courtyard which features a central fire for sitting outside sampling the local produce on chilly nights. Has never heard of this chain of hotels but was super impressed. Really nice and spacious room, big bathroom with walk in shower and loads of space. The breakfast was nice and we were given vouchers for a free drink in the bar which was an unexpected pleasant surprise. Would definitely stay here again and look out for the Oxford Suites brand when in California, Oregon or Washington

Beautifully maintained property with no issues to note. We had in room dining but missed that this attracts some extra charges. This could have been made more obvious.

Very clean, comfortable beds, very nice and helpful staff, breakfast with choice of Omelettes, bagels, sausages, gravy, yogurts etc.
not impressed with coffee, but oh well. Can’t have everything

Big American hotel with gorgeous huge beds and lots of space. Very peaceful at night. Definitely recommend. Only a few minutes drive from downtown and parking was easy.

Really clean. Staff were great and breakfast in the restaurant was really good too.
We were a family of 4 and found the family room we booked to be perfect and really spacious.

I only stayed one night but everyone was very friendly and helpful. Little things like leaving bags there after checkout. The lobby and bar area are really nicely decked out, and the suite was big, with a great shower. There was also a convenient BBQ by the pool in the evening, plus a complementary beer/wine! I would stay here again.
