"We travelled as a family of 6 the last week of Oct and we had an amzing time. Lets start with the highlights. Daniel and Jesus at the pool made the week. They work so hard to make your day the best possible. Tip them well as they work hard for it. Santana, Ricardo and Nico at the pool bar and pool service were 5 star service and treated our kids so well too. Sandra at the ince cream and crepes place next door was also amazing. Always a smile and friendly to interact with. If you are looking for amazing service, great resort and food and dont care about nightlife then this is a must visit. Its a little confusing (and misleading) online to food options. At Estancia there is on restaurant ( La Casona) for breakfast and dinner. Only lunch option is poolside. There are 3 restaurants next dooe yo ucan go to, plus the ice cream / crepe place for dessert. It was fairly slow when we went and were able to walk in anywhere we wnated each night. Flamingos does have an amazing buffett breakfast we did most days. The service at resuarants is slow, so expect it to be! And because not everyone is all inclusive, you always have to wait and sign a bill - which became annoying when they took another 10 mins to dwliver it. The grounds are well manicured and staff around the resort are all so friendly. You can tell the genuinly care! The rooms are massive. One big downside - check in staff are not friendly - they need somw training from daniel and Jesus at the pool!"

"After reading some of the reviews, I was a bit worried about my stay. However, I can say I was very pleased. The staff were friendly, the grounds were clean. The rooms were attended to daily and restocked. There was not a large selection of places to eat, but you were not going hungry. People will always find a reason to write a negative review. Would there be more selection at a Riu?? Of course, but it is high we quality food? No. Of your expecting 5 star food all inclusives may not be your thing. What we saved staying here made it possible to do and see more than we ever have. Thank you for a great time. If we make it back to puerto vallarta we would stay again"

"We loved our visit, the rooms were clean but slightly outdated which is fine, you dont go on vacation for the rooms. The staff was all friendly and helpful when needed. The food was phenomenal so many wonderful options for those who are willing to try something new. Very safe, i ended up losing my phone and hat on two separate occasions and one of the guests brought my phone to the staff and a staff member recognized me and told me he had my hat. Walking distance to the grocery store and some flea markets. Had no issues with reservations as we linked our wyndham rewards and they gave us different restaurants each day. Recommend bringing floaties or a sleeping pad for the beach as the chairs are quite hard, but otherwise great time. Would definitely come back! "

"The amenities and kitchen items provided everything I needed. The place was tranquil and quiet and comfortable. The A/C worked great (a must for me), the location was perfect. I had such a relaxing time and even planning to book again. A note to the owner that an information sheet explaining locking and unlocking the door would be most helpful as I had a difficult time at first trying to figure out the digital lock. However this was no hindrance to a perfect stay! "

However, big shoutout to Liliana, Samuel and Nathiliana (and I probably spelled that wrong, too), all the bell boys, the housekeepers etc. It was a very relaxing stay and I enjoyed every moment. "
