"The property’s location was excellent—right on the beach and about a 10-minute drive to Jaco. It had a charming old-world feel, and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. The property is in serious need of renovation, with many things visibly falling apart. "View was amazing! Sunset from restaurant and sunrise from lying in bed! Staff was even more exceptional- treated us like family, especially Enzo. WiFi was not good in the room, but AC was strong. The nature tour was a treat, we saw monkeys up close and also sloths, birds and iguana. A tucán was right next to us at breakfast! No pool- it's more of a place to use as homebase when doing other things, not to stay all day. But such a beautiful place to start and end the day!"
