"I'm giving this review all 5 stars. Here are the things we liked best: The lobby coffee it was delicious. The new grind & brew machines with all of the goodies to make it just like you want was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean & despite being on the interstate side was relatively quiet. The white noise machine in the room was a big help. The pool & gym area was clean & didn't have that "locker room" odor. The towels at the pool area were well stocked. The staff was helpful & friendly. A very short drive to all of the awesome local attractions.
We liked Farmwald's & the Honey & Oak & the Mexican restaurant but definitely steer clear of the Watermill and Five Broke Girls, the service was good & the folks there are very nice but the food we had was not good.
We enjoyed our stay! Hope you enjoy Yours!"
"The inn is a fun place, stepping back into another time with many modern conveniences.
A family style breakfast is offered each morning. Dining options are very limited in the community.
We would recommend a stay at this distinctive Inn."
"The Horse Cave Motel was a pleasant surprise. A standard older style motel in a small town that felt alot like home. I grew up in a small town, so it was fun to revisit an older style, well maintained motel.
The owners were very friendly, helpful and visibly worked very hard daily to clean and maintain the property. Very helpful and definitely a family affair!
Our room was clean, the double beds were very comfortable, and plenty of room for our dog kennels to be set up for our stay. Lots of grass on property for walking the dogs, and they were welcomed with us. $20/per night per pet charge, but we were fine with that.
All in all a good stay. We would definitely stay again and recommend anyone in the area to stay as well."
