Excellent location and I know Paris well. The breakfast buffet is well worth the 12 euros. The room was small, but well organized. The bed was terrific. Quiet location. The bathroom was small (25 sq ft) but functional. If someone were overweight, they would have a struggle fitting on the toilet. The toilet did often take multiple flushes. The shower was 4 sq ft (literally), but functional. There was mold in the shower -- so visible it begs the question: why wouldn't the cleaners attend to it. Staff were quite good.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. The location was good with restaurants and a metro stop close by. The Jardin des Plantes, a beautiful garden with a zoo and museums, was half a block away. The hotel was clean and well maintained though very small. If you can manage with a small space, this is a good bargain. The front desk staff were very warm, welcoming, and helpful.
