The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had. Beautifully presented, fresh and always topped up. A great range of quality drinks as well. 10.00 am finish, so plenty of time for a lie in.

An idyllic place - set in countryside surrounded by a nice garden, and woods, yet close to the village and equidistant to city and coast. Lovely old farm building. Only marred because the main highway is fairly close and a bit noisy. Best bit - fantastic dinner, all home made (I think everything from the bread to the cakes are home made here, special note to the jam!) Breakfast on the patio perfect. Stylish and elegant rooms. Kind and helpful staff. A little ways out of Venice and in a quiet neighbourhood.

Villa Ines was a real hidden gem. In a quiet area within 5 minutes walk of the ferry port, so that you can easily explore any part of Venice. A beautiful building, inside and out. Delicious breakfast, you can eat inside, or in the superbly landscaped garden. The owner and all staff were very helpful and a pleasure to talk to - in multiple languages! Would stay again and recommend! Very tempted by the cooking classes should I return to Venice.

We stayed at the JW Marriott for 4 days and loved every minute. It's a beautiful, clean hotel 20 minutes by boat shuttle service from Venice. The staff can't do enough to help and never said 'no' to any of our requests. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and looked forward to our breakfast each morning. Sitting outside, looking at the trees and sea in the distance with a crisp fresh croissant and a cappuccino was the perfect start to our day. Food was of a high quality, always hot and fresh....

Fantastic hotel, if you want to stay in close proximity but also away from hustle and bustle of Venice then it’s fantastic. Grandest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Well organised shuttle bus to Venice and fantastic breakfast

The rooms are modern and sleek. Clean and well maintained. We would recommend to family and friends without second a thought and happily return if in Venice. It is a pleasant walk from the boat stop and from the hotel along the water front to San Marco Piazzo. The worst bit was how form the mattress was, it was uncomfortable faulting the ability to sleep but that's the least of complaints to make when presented with a great hotel. Three nights and four days in Venice made all the sweeter for staying at this fabulous hotel. Beautiful room for 3, with en-suite shower room. Beds were extremely comfortable. Lovely hotel, really friendly staff who showed us where everything was, which water bus to get etc. Close to what is a lovely seaside style resort so restaurants, ice cream, beach etc. within 10 minutes walk. Only minus is that the bedroom was very hot at night so difficult to sleep.

From the moment we arrived at The Gritti Palace we were treated like royalty. From the second you arrive at the canal entrance of the hotel you know it's going to be special. Hotel, organised transfers to and from airport, incredibly efficient both instances, Check in very fast, reception took us to our great room. The staff are relaxed and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts are great with fantastic views. There are seating areas to relax if you want to chill out. I have stayed in venice many times and this is my second stay at M & G. It's definitely my favourite hotel.

Beautiful location in the Rialto area but tucked away through atmospheric alleys and next to a music academy.There was always live music drifting in the air as you walked to and from the hotel. Our suite was roomy with wonderful views of the canal - better than any television, I could sit and watch the boats all day. The original fittings and decoration were wonderful. The breakfasts excellent. The beautiful lounge had balconies for a spritz in the sun.

We spent 5 nights here, and had a much-needed break. The hotel was so quiet and luxurious. Loved the private water taxi to mainland Venice, that added an extra something to our stay, and always so prompt.
