"Delightful stay. The room was lovely, and the view from our private terrace was wonderful.
Dinner was first rate. Easily walkable into San Quirico, short drive to Montalcino, Pienza, and Montalcino. Nice massage and spa. A very good value."
"Peaceful location with stunning view and well trained staff
It was a perfect family vacation
My only mistake is not having the time to stay a full week
Would come back with our child when they are older "
"Amazing personnel always taking great care of you, the place is 20 min. Drive from Montalcino, has well maintained pool, breakfast very good, laundry available and restaurant in site. Self-parking area.
Great location if you want to disconnect and enjoy breathtaking views of the Tuscany area."
"This was a wonderful spot to stay a short distance outside of town in a very quiet peaceful area. The room was large and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. Everyone there was very kind and friendly."
"One of the best places we stayed for one night , the host (owner and chef) was very friendly and the food he cooked was amazing - one of the best meals we had in the 3 weeks we stayed in Italy. Getting there by car was convenient but no easy to find. Once you are there the place is amazing and the food just great!"

"This is the 4th time we stayed in this hotel . I love the fact that it’s like a retreat hotel . You are there to relax and soak yourself to the natural hot spring . The restaurant have fabulous healthy breakfast and dinner . I love Val D’Orcia . It’s a relaxing town with beautiful scenery and same time so close to Montalcino and the surrounding well known and one of the best Brunello makers . Not forget to mention the underrated but very nice town , San Querico . Also love the neighbor Pienza . Biking is a good experience in this area . Get a guide to cover those beautiful areas around Val D Orcia "
"We LOVED our stay at Casanova. The property is a picturesque Tuscan style architecture with very well kept grounds. The view of the Tuscan hillside alone is worth it. The pool area was wonderful! (note they make you swim in a swim cap - would’ve been nice to have this information in our itinerary so we could've come prepared.) You can buy them onsite for 3.50 euro. We stayed in the apartments and they were spacious and the bathrooms look recently updated, they were very nice. I will say the sofa was very old (I think it’s supposed to look traditional) and smelled strongly of cleaning solution, but it was fine as we mainly used the room to sleep. The restaurant on site is excellent, definitely try it. The staff were always so courteous and helpful. The location is wonderful, so close to Pienza and near many other famous towns to do the typical Val d’Orcia Loop by car. The hotel is located only a 5 minute walk from San Quirico which was so convenient. This is a fantastic property and we definitely will be coming back! "
Boutique Villa Liberty - Depandance Hotel - Borgo Capitano Collection - Albergo diffuso
10/10 Excellent
"Villa Liberty is a lovely hotel. Great room, with an excellent bathroom and a garden patio. Located one block outside the Old Town (which made parking easier). Fabulous breakfast at the related restaurant in Old Town (3 minute walk). Helpful staff. "
"ADLER Spa Resort Thermae is exceptional. From the warm welcome to the first-class property, everything exceeded expectations. Meals were outstanding, and as someone gluten free, I appreciated the wide range of safe, clearly marked options.
The spa and thermal pool are incredible, and the 50km guided e-bike ride through the countryside was unforgettable. The daily sound bath was a unique highlight, and a rainy afternoon wine tasting and lunch turned into a cozy, memorable experience. Ask for Julia’s tour—you’ll come away with a whole new appreciation for organic winemaking.
Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had a balcony overlooking the beautiful grounds. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay by two extra days. Can’t wait to return."
