"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Romantic Trulli. The property is beautiful, very well maintained, and truly special. Every detail is thoughtfully done, creating a charming and relaxing atmosphere. The space is not only aesthetically stunning but also very comfortable and welcoming. You can really feel the care and attention that has gone into preserving its character while providing a high-quality experience. It was a memorable stay, and we would definitely love to come back. "Not worth the money. Matera is beautiful and unique, very worthing visiting. But the hotel itself was below our expectation, with such an expensive room rate. No kettle to boil hot water, no conditioner in the bath room. The room was decorated as old time "Sassi" but rather too empty and simple. The view outside the room was nice though."

"We enjoyed everything about the hotel; friendly staff, convenient location, clean n big room except for 2 things : - the toilet is not enclosed ie it has no door. My husband and I had to take turn to leave the room when we want to use it. - the hotel did a fantastic job to notify us about options of parking. It was quite a task to drag our luggage up and down from the car park to the hotel along the cobblestone road. The hotel could have offered portal service to their guests especially for elderly guests"

"The hotel is incredible and the staff is as well. We absolutely loved our stay. It was truly a unique experience. However, guests should know that because the hotel is literally incorporated into the caves, it can be physically demanding climbing all the stone stairs. People with mobility issues will definitely struggle at this hotel"
