It lived up to its name.... Splendid
On our last 2 days since there were very few guests we were give a la carte breakfast . Service was excellent and we had all the basic food in a breakfast...

ACCOMODATION IN KHAO-YAI
The Hotel was not occupied except for our group of four couples during our stay and hence was extremely quiet. Breakfast provided was alright. The room was clean and service staff were obliging although communication in English was sometime difficult. Location of Hotel was alright if you have transport as there was nothing available surrounding the Hotel.

Free upgrade was great. Only thing is the cleanliness of the bathroom, the soap and it's packet used by the previous guest still stayed at the soap rack, but there was no more shower gel left in the container, after informed the reception, the staff has came to refill the shower gel, but the soap and it's packet still left behind.....bathroom need some cleaning work especially the faucet... look dull

Happy with the stay
Nice and clean. Very comfy bed. Room is large. We stay one night there and happy with the stay. Breakfast is not much variety but good enough for the price.

Quiet and relaxing
An enjoyable 3 night stay at this hotel. The hotel is new (when we stayed in 2018) and clean. It's away from the main strip in Khao Yai and if you stay here you will most likely need your own transport, although I think there were motorcycles and bicycles for hire from the hotel. The restaurant was very quiet at night - there was no lounge/bar at the hotel but drinks & beer were available in the restaurant. Outside the hotel there is nowhere within walking distance to eat or drink - you will need transport to get to a bar or restaurant. There are no tuk-tuks nearby. The swimming pool was clean. seemed to get most use and be popular with children late afternoon and early evening, when the sun was not so hot. A very nice, peaceful hotel; comfortable bed and a good nights sleep. We had a nice view of a nearby mountain from our hotel room. The balcony was a nice size for sitting outside and relaxing. Free wi-fi - decent connection & speed. We would be happy to stay here again when we want a relaxing stress free break.

Decent location and comfortable stay
The location for Splendid Hotel was convenient, with most of the attractions at Khao Yai within reach in 10 minutes. For the hotel itself, the facilities included a gym and a small swimming pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful, although the lack of command of English made it difficult to communicate. The beds were very comfortable and it was overall an pleasant stay. Downsides: 1) There were quite a few insects along the hallway, reason being that the hotel is located right next to a forest. 2) TV had limited selection of channels and were limited to Thai channels 3) Breakfast was average, with the same cooked food menu of hotdogs, ham, sunny side eggs, some porridge/soup and a staple (fried rice or fried noodles) each day. We did not try the salads as there were flies hovering around the vegetables and fruits. Toast, coffee and tea were also provided. Suggest to consider having breakfast elsewhere.

Great stay.
Amazing hotel. The rooms assigned to my family is facing the hill - lots of fresh air. Room spacious and clean. Kids loves the toy room and the teenagers & adults loves the game room. Only area for improvement is the breakfast selection. Same food for both morning. Staffs are friendly and Super helpful. As it’s near to the natural reserve, insects are common.

Great location off the main Pak Chong to Khao Yai Rd. Staff very helpful with arranging transport. Very good well priced food in the hotel restaurant. Front office staff made the stay a very enjoyable one. Will definitely return visit the Spendid.

An excellent hotel
All the staff ranging from reception, housekeeping, restaurant and guard were very friendly and polite. The room was very clean and spacious with green scenery. Every part of the hotel was perfectly clean. The restaurant food was very delicious and they were able to customize for us vegetarian friendly. The hotel is within walking distance to Strawberry farm and Primo Piazza.We enjoyed our stay in this hotel very much and would strongly recommend to others.

Clean and comfortable stay in Khao Yai
The hotel room is big and spacious. We have a glimpse of the mountains from our hotel balcony. The food at the breakfast is not fantastic.

Nice, clean hotel & close to main attractions
Hotel is nice, simple & clean & we had a comfortable stay. Overall ok but we skip the breakfast as food mostly have pork. Being muslim, we’re looking for halal restaurants, and luckily we found 2 nice restaurants not that far from the hotel.

Small hotel with very personalized staff
We stayed 3N and can't praise more on the team of dedicated front-desk staff - Mr Warapot and a lady staff with short hair ( my apology for not getting your name) were extremely patient and helpful to plan my itinerary each morning as our driver were not familiar with Pak Chong. On our third day our van broke down at the national park after our trekking. Our driver gave a call to the hotel and a truck was sent to our rescue. Thumbs up for their quick action that me and my 3 children safely returned to the hotel before night falls! Only setback was the stench from my room's toilet which I believe the hotel's maintenance staff can address without a problem.

Allocated on the 2nd floor, Overall room is big the staff are friendly but the toilet smell unbearable when i turn on the toilet fan. Even after housekeeping cleanup it's still smell .Hope the hotel can look into it.

A splendid stay indeed
The hotel room looks great with a very clean room, spacious and with comfortable bed. The view from the room was good too (forest view, can also see some cliffs). The staff at the hotel were very polite and courteous, always ready to help. Overall a very relaxing hotel for a stay in khao yai.

Good hotel in a good location
This is a good hotel in a good location with clean modern rooms and very helpful staff. Breakfast and dinnner in the restaurant is also very good and reasonably priced

Nice and quiet hotel with mountain view.
Overall i am pleased with my stay in Splendid hotel. The staffs there are friendly and helpful too. Is also near the Primo Piazza and PB valley.

Better Than Expected - Better Than Most 4-Star
We entered the parking lot of a lovely new hotel. We were promptly greeted by the security guard who assisted us with locating the front desk and with our baggage. Everyone was very helpful throughout our stay. The front desk clerks and manager were very nice, helpful, and spoke English. We felt very welcomed. Our room (401) lies on the corner of the building with magnificent views of the surrounding hills - absolutely beautiful. One thing that caught my attention was the use of artificial turf to cover up the roof of adjacent buildings. This is so that the architecture does not take away from the view of nature. This is a very nice touch. The room was spacious with large glass doors and a very open feel. It was very clean and offered a home-like feeling. Breakfast was somewhat basic, but this is to satisfy a wide variety of tastes with little waste - an Eco-friendly breakfast, I like to call it. The kid's club was small and unsupervised. The pool area was simple, yet comfortable. The butterflies, flowers, and surrounding hills offered a lovely backdrop for an afternoon of poolside relaxation. Any questions we had were promptly answered. Any needs were promptly fulfilled. In fact, I left my hard drive attached to the large television in our room after checking out. After realizing my mistake, I called to let management know. They promptly had my hard drive shipped to my home in Bangkok. Our overall experience was terrific! We will stay at this hotel again.

ทุกอย่างถือว่าโอเคนะคะ การบริการประทับใจ เรื่องห้องพักให้ระวังเรื่องกลิ่นห้องน้ำนิดนึงค่ะคือห้องน้ำจะมีพัดลมดูดกลิ่นแต่บางครั้งก็จะได้กลิ่นท่อส่งกลิ่นมาบ้างน่ะค่ะ อันนี้ทางโรงแรมอาจจะต้องหาวิธีหรือแนวทางในการกำจัดกลิ่นเหล่านี้นะคะ เพื่อบรรยากาศที่ดีมากขึ้นค่ะ

Hotel well located, but not foreigners oriented
We called the hotel 2 days before our arrival to book 1 scooter for us. They say “no problem “ we will have scooter for you. When we arrived there, it was impossible to find a scooter. All the scooters were booked already. As we wanted to go to the national park by scooter, we were very disappointed. Finally they found a scooter for us the second day.
