"I went to this property midweek in mid-August and expected it to be packed, but it was actually kind of quiet and sleepy. There's a small cafe and very good shower and toilet facilities. It's mostly rvs, though there is a small facility for tents behind the main building.
They have small rustic cottages as well, I stayed in one of those for one night and it was okay, not great, but I also realize that everyone's standards are very high nowadays, a very simple roof over your head with some ants...

Kumpeli Spa
Kumpeli SpaHeinola
10/10 Excellent
You can’t beat the location of Kumpeli! Absolutely beautiful views of the river! The new owners have made some excellent changes. The spa was great before, small but very pleasant, now with the addition of the fabulous terrace with sunchairs and direct access to the river. The lobby is so much more inviting and service very friendly and efficient. Of course the rooms could do with some updating but they are very clean. Do get a room facing the river though…Really looking forward to going again...
