"The hotel is a bit old. It's great if you're looking to stay in a property with a historical aspect. Check-in was troubling. I don't recall on the Hotel's description here on Expedia or on their own website that the deposit was $400 up front. I stayed for 6 days so that should have been around $170. "We went for my sons birthday and the staff made it extra special by adding balloons and a cheesecake and a sweet note wishing him a happy birthday. We stayed here for universal studios and the walk is easy and no more than 5-7min. They have shuttles as well. The Starbucks in there is great the best Iv ever been to in a hotel and the restaurant is yummy too. They where giving out popsicles to the kiddos as they cam into the hotel which my kids loved. We will be staying here again "
