"We just got back from a 4-night stay at Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta and had a really great experience overall.
The setting is probably the standout feature—being tucked into a private cove makes a big difference. The beach felt more secluded than most places we’ve been, and the views with the mountains around the bay were beautiful. We spent most of our time by the pools, which were clean, well-maintained, and never felt overly crowded. There were plenty of loungers, and the swim-up bar was a nice touch for relaxing during the day.
The food was underwhelming but what we expected for an all-inclusive. Not every meal was amazing, but there was enough variety that we always found something we enjoyed.
Service was consistently friendly and attentive without feeling over the top. David who worked around the adult pool was amazing! Hector at the buffet did a great job checking in and keeping things running smoothly.
The rooms were comfortable and clean, and we appreciated having a balcony to enjoy the view. The resort overall felt well-kept and easy to get around.
Overall, this was exactly the kind of trip we were hoping for—easy, relaxing, and a great place to unwind for a few days. We’d definitely consider coming back."
