Living amongst the animals.
Great location for visiting Cango Caves and Cango Wildlife Park. Nice to be so near a variety of animals at Wildewangel. Unfortunately the restaurant closed at 5 pm and we had to drive 30km into Oudtshoorn for a meal. Comfortable room and facilities but no heating.

Reasonably priced. Arriving before 17:00 for check in can be a challenge it’s late and 08:30 for breakfast can be deemed a bit too late in the morning for some.

Very good sleep over next to Cango Caves
Spacious room with limited self catering. Just far enough from activity park to be peacefull. Beatifull flower gardens with great mountain views. Very friendly and helpful staff. Sleep over for a night or two definately recommended.

Very nice for out family.
This is not a 5 stat hotel, but it is very nice. Our room was like a small house. Full kitchen, a brie outside. If you have children it is perfect with all the animals around. We rode a camel and zip lined across the pond. The food was great at the restaurant.

Pleasant Overnight Stay
We enjoyed the night and found our host helpful. Unfortunately we had a family with young kids next door who played outside till late. Ideal if you are seeing the Cango Caves and have kids

Wir waren im November da. Wir hatten das 4 Bettappartment. Unser 1. Eindruck : Ghosthouse. Die Anreise war schon spuky, obwohl wir uns per E-Mail extra vorher angekündigt hatten und nachfragten wie wir nach 17 Uhr aus das Gelände kommen, keine Antwort. Aus den Bewertungen wussten wir dass wir für das Tor einen Code benötigen. Tja irgendwie haben wir einen Weg rein gefunden und dann auch den Weg in unsere FW. Es ist alles sehr alt, muffig und die Küche allein ist 100 Jahre alt, aus den 20gern. Naja für 3 Nächte wir haben es überlebt und man darf den anderen Bewertungen glauben, dass der Park angrenzend absolut „dafür“ spricht. Toll für die Kinder, die Tiere, der Wasserpark, die Spiellandschaft. Futter gab es für die Kinder um die Tiere zu füttern und das Restaurant ist günstig und ganz ok. Also die alte Küche musste nicht herhalten. Insgesamt war die Unterkunft ok aber man hätte auch umliegend etwas schöner wohnen können und wäre eben in den Park mit den Kids gefahren.

Farmfeeling, etwas älter, aber sauber
Einsamkeit pur, großes Zimmer, sauber mit Veranda, die Farm ist etwas herunter gekommen, einige Tiere auf dem Hof, Personal sehr freundlich

Maison très fraîche en hiver (austral). Un peu éloigné de la ville mais près des grottes. Très rustique. Recommandé si vous êtes en famille avec de jeunes enfants pour la ferme et les activités proposées, ... mais hors juillet/août.
