"This is a nice hotel in a good location but my room was a bit disappointing. I did like that I could walk up the stairs to my room & back out into the lobby (stairs went to the 4th floor). My room was a corner room (406) with a lovely view. However, it overlooked a busy intersection & the windows are very poor for sound proofing. I was up early with the traffic daily. It was quite busy/noisy & the walls didn't seem very sound proof either. The room was really dark & the television is poorly located - very difficult to watch from the bed. Otherwise fine - bed was comfortable, room spacious, with fridge & some kitchen supplies. Staff friendly & accommodating with a late check out. Price good for location near ByWard Market & Rogers Conference Centre."

"The hotel is well used but clean and functional. Walking distance to plenty of dining and tourist sites like Byward and Parliament Hill. I liked having the suite so I could make my own meals. There's a really cool grocery store nearby called Farm Boy. I felt safe walking around Elgin Street, even at night. I plan on staying here for every trip to Ottawa. Staff were great to deal with. Breakfast is hot and ready to go at 7am sharp. "

"The valet parking was excellent. The restaurant on site was really good. The food was wonderful but a bit on the pricey side. All the employees were nice and helped with directions in the area when asked. Would definitely stay there again."
