"We absolutely loved our stay here, it is one of the best hotels I’ve been to. The airline had lost our bags en route and we showed up tired and frustrated from that experience but the hotel staff were so welcoming and kind that we soon snapped out of it. Marilyn in particular was especially helpful in helping us navigate the airline’s lost baggage system and even took it over for us, calling each day and speaking with them (our Italian is terrible). Staff at weren’t very friendly when needed assistance with things and failed to make a dinner reservation when I asked them to. They weren’t able to seat me at the restaurant. "Having 24 hour reception was very useful. Really nice breakfast on the terrace downstairs under the shade of the building. Buffet-style with lots of choice. Room is small, but adequate and air-conditioning worked. Only quibble is the disposable plastic cups in the room. "
