"We weren't prepared for how remote this property is and the extended rainy season made it even more so with very poor road conditions. Be sure to stock up on EVERYTHING you'll need before going up there as a trip to any store or restaurant will be lengthy. We had to leave after staying only one of our two nights as we just didn't have enough food. "The property is beautiful and the location is great for exploring the north side of town. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself could use a refresh. It is for sale so I suspect that will not happen until it has a new owner. My only real issue was lack of table space in the rooms to place keys, books, sunglasses, etc. Hotel services are limited. The coffee/juice bar didn’t open until around 9 a.m. So early risers need to go out (there are espresso pods available in the main shared space). Not a big deal as there are plenty of places nearby. No laundry service available. You have to go to the full service Super Wash a few buildings down. That wasn’t great as many pieces of clothing went missing. All in all it is a really nice spot. It could be great with just a few extra touches."
