I have enjoyed staying at many different Thon hotels. If you are a tourist to Oslo the location is excellent. 3 blocks from the train, bus, and tbane. Easy walking distance to the palace, parliament, national cathedral and much more. The hotel I clouded a light evening meal Monday- Thursday along with the traditional breakfast buffets. Rooms are small but too much to enjoy outside to stay in anyway. Very friendly staff

The view from the room looked right onto the park. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and beds cozy. We were there for 17 Mai and the breakfast was amazing and the location couldnt be more convenient to the parade and the Palace. A perfect stay

Great Hotel for 2 days in Oslo!
Comfortable hotel a short walk from many sights in Oslo. Convenient to the metro as well. Fantastic breakfast! Quiet, with comfortable rooms with expected amenities. Helpful front desk staff as well. Will definitely stay again next time in Oslo.

This was my first trip to Oslo and I had a amazing stay at Thon Hotel Cecil. It was a long weekend from Saturday to Monday. I loved the room which had everything I needed for my stay and the bed was comfortable too. The room had a luxurious feel as well as a mini bar and safe. The staff were friendly, helpful and supportive. I have now added my details for membership and will definitely be back to this Hotel when I visit Oslo again.

Fantastic breakfast! Surprisingly great quality selection—freshly prepared. Convenient location. My only pet peeve, is that I asked for recommendations for authentic local Norwegian food and was sent to a cheesy tourist trap.
