Good place to stay in Oslo
The room was small, and the shower ran low on hot water. On the other hand, the breakfasts were awesome, and the staff was both very friendly and helpful! The best we experienced on our European adventure! I'd stay there again, but recommend showering in the evening! Hope you're not much taller than we were; the bed was cozy. All in all, a positive experience. Loved their description of how to get there in response to my wife's email query: basically, it was "walk out the main door of the train station, cross the street, and turn left into our lobby!" Ultra-convenient.

Claustrophobic room but great breakfast
In an otherwise great hotel, my room wasn't the greatest... low floor facing interior light well, room was a bit dark and claustrophobic (I feel it's the kind of room often given to solo travellers). Great breakfast and friendly hotel staff though. Also, great central location.

The staff are very nice and helpful. The room was very average. Small bed, lovely duvet and the window opened which I really liked. The shower room was scary because the tiles were slippery and the drain was so slow the whole room was covered in water. They don’t have bath mats so I as terrified I was going to slip. On the plus side, this hotel is right at the train station in downtown Oslo and handy to get to the airport.
