Clean apartment with comfy beds, close to local transport and shops and in nice location. The bathroom could be better - shower curtain not very effective and water collects on the floor.

An apartment with little character and slightly faded fittings and furniture from IKEA. On the 4th floor and without a lift. Did not feel I wanted to use the kitchen after reading the notice which said there would be a fine of NOK3,000 if the fire alarm was set off. Not a teabag or any other comfort to welcome me to the place. 2 narrow single beds in a small separate room. Would only return if nothing better to be found.

The flat was average. However we booked two separate twin beds and got there to find only one bed together (that were unable to be split apart) and when asked about this - received no response from Expedia nor the rental agency itself. There was a pullout sofa, but no bedding available to use it. Advertised TV but only watchable if you had specific app subscription and even then, we weren’t able to use it. Again, no response from Expedia nor the property owner. No dish towel to dry dishes. Also beware that map app may take you to wrong Forenom (property owner) location - there are many in this neighborhood.

Terrible Communication From Manager

We booked this stay months ago and had an almost impossible time contacting the manager. After sending 3 emails with no response, we contacted VRBO customer service who also was unable to initially contact the manager. A day later we finally received a very brief email with limited check in instructions. These included a phone number to call and an office address to contact once we were in country for further instructions. We were unable to get phone contact in spite of 4 phone calls 2 of which were by a Norweigan who spoke excellent English. After 3 more emails, we receive instructions to get our key from a 7-11...yes a 7-11 if we were going to be after 4PM which we were. We got the key from the 7-11 and after a very difficult time found the apartment which had not been cleaned from the previous guest. Although it was now 6PM we went to the office address and banged on the door. A taxi driver was going to call the police on us but fortunately a young Polish lady answered and although she was off work took us to a clean apartment which was larger than the one we rented. If she had not been there we would have been totally out of luck. She is the only good thing about this company. Ok we are finally in the larger apartment but it was only marginally better. I would give it a 1 star rating out of 5. There were numerous problems including a shower that had no lip and consequently flooded the entire bathroom floor when we took the shortest shower, the limited art decoration looked like it was salvaged from someones trash with scraped frames and soiled matting, the walls were damaged and in need of painting, the balcony was dirty, the blackout curtains did not keep out the light...it is light in Norway until midnight and then the sun comes out again at 4 AM, it was noisy from a bar on the street, the baseboards were dirty, it was hot with no fans, there was no icemaker or ice trays for the refrigerator, in general all the furniture appeared to be more than 10 years old, I could go on but you should get the idea that you do not want to stay in the apartments managed by this company.

Jeg synes det var greit men jeg ble sendt ut av rommet fordi dere hadde gjort feil med overnattingen og sa at en annen skulle sove der, jeg måtte bruke 2 timer av dagen på å finne ut noe som var deres feil. Veldig uprofesjonelt

Bra rum nära slottet

Rent och fint rum. Stort och rymligt så att en hel familj får bra med plats. Bra läge precis bredvid slottsparken. Saknade eluttag bredvid sängen men annars var allt bra.

Grusomt sted!

Første leiligheten vi fikk var helt grusom. Den avviker totalt fra bildene som hotels.com har for en leilighet på ground floor. Leiligheten var veldig skitten, til og med toalettskålen hadde gule flekker og luktet surt! Det var støv overalt. Manglet både kjøkkenutstyr, hårføner og div andre utstyr. Leiligheten var nedrøyket når vi kom, og det luktet fukt/mugg. Helt ubeboelig for å si det mildt! Alt var slitt og stygt. Det eneste som var bra med den første leiligheten var at den var stor. Jeg klagde til Forenom Apartments, men det var ingen tilgjengelige i Norge så jeg ble satt over til Finland. Det eneste de kunne hjelpe med var å gi en annen leilighet. Dvs at vi ikke kunne sjekke før vi fikk en annen leilighet at den var i ok stand. Veldig irriterende. Den andre leiligheten vi fikk var i 5.etg uten heis og det var grusomt varmt der! Denne leiligheten var også skitten. Spesielt grusomt når toalettet har gule flekker og lukter surt! Denne leiligheten var vesentlig mindre enn den vi opprinnelig hadde. Jeg vil overhode ikke anbefale noen andre enn festglade folk til å bo i dette leilighetskomplekset. I begge leilighetene vi bodde under dette oppholdet var det konstant festing i leilighetskomplekset, til alle døgnets tider. Helt forferdelig å bo der mer enn en natt. Forenom Apartment har ikke tilgjengelig service i Norge hele tiden. Dette er også plagsomt om noe skulle hende, slik det gjorde med oss.

Jeg og noen venner leide apartment på forenom pga stor plass og soverom. Jeg hadde ikke tid til å gå innom for depositum av penger, så vi gjorde det over telefon- noe som gikk greit men jeg måtte gi alt opplysninger om kortet mitt til dem- noe som var litt ubehagelig med tanke på at det er privat. Når jeg ankom apartmentet, så var jeg først veldig glad over hvor stort og fint det var- til jeg så masse maur på gulvet og kjøkkenbenken. Dette syntes jeg var svært ubehagelig, så jeg ringte og klagde på det. Jeg fikk da et midlertidig rom for den ene dagen, og dagen etter gikk jeg ned igjen. Det var greit først, men på morningen var det masse maur igjen- jeg ringte da selvfølgelig opp igjen til kundeservice og fikk et nytt rom- samtidig som jeg fikk beholde det jeg i hovedsak hadde bestilt. Kundeservicen var veldig bra, og dem prøvde å hjelpe så godt dem kunne, men jeg syntes man skal komme til et rent og fint sted når man først betaler for et sted å være. Var sentralt og ligger godt til- kiosker og butikker i nærområdet.

I wish I could give this a negative star if could. Where do I start? I understand that reviews don’t give you the full scope of what the place is like. Let me elaborate: the pictures you see isn’t what the place looks like. It was difficult to find. And the building looks like it was built in the 1800s and smelled like it too. There were no elevators and the staircases look like they were leading you to hell. After dragging our luggage’s to what seemed like eternity. The room itself smelled musty and old. Even if u open the window, it still reeks old. Let’s just say when I slept, I slept with one eye open for I was afraid that anyone could bust through those doors and murder us. The electricity didn’t work for an hour and when you contacted them, they didn’t speak English or they couldn’t help you. When I told Expedia about this sadly I couldn’t get a refund and had to rebook to Radisson Blue. Just be careful and please stay away from this place. It’s so disappointing because I am a loyal Expedia customer.

The apartments were clean, staff excellent and helpful, very central. Absolutly no complaints, but when you order threein the room - one has to sleep on the sofa in the livingroom.

Muy mala experiencia

A la llegada fallaron las claves de acceso al apartamento y nos tuvieron en la calle durante 2 horas, de noche y con un niño de 7 años sin darnos solución. Finalmente nos abrieron pero sin darnos nuevas claves, tuve que ir yo a primera hora de la mañana a las oficina de Forenoum para solucionarlo. Me informaron que como compensación me harían un 50% en la primera noche. revisando el cargo en cuenta he comprobado que no lo hicieron, Me siento engañado. er

I've stayed at this property several times before as I travel to Oslo frequently on business. As usual, I came back once again because these apartments never fail to impress me. The apartment has everything a person needs for a comfortable stay in Oslo and it's consistently sparkling clean. The management company are communicative, responsive, and professional and check in/check out are very streamlined. Best of all the location of the apartment is perfect! It's very close to the national theater train station, there's a convenience store just around the corner, a supermarket down the block, many tourist destinations within walking distance, and a fabulous selection of restaurants very close by. I highly recommend this property for your trip to Oslo.
