Would not recommend this property, the staff was uninformed about the railway to the airport, although they have a schedule giving real time information in the lobby. The room was very small, there was no house phone, so contacting others staying in the same facility was impossible, no bedside alarm clock, lights in room were hard to activate and room was very dim, and elevator system was poor, hard to activate with room key and need to use multiple elevators just to get to the 4th floor. All in all not a pleasant experience.

The property is very convenient to the train station. However we couldnt use the convenient entrance based off the hours we arrived and left in the morning so that wss a bummer. The room is very small. The bathroom is a nice size. No safe which we didnt like. The breakfast had many options and was nice. It was nice to walk to main attractions.

The hotel has an excellent location in the old Sentral station, a 50m walk from the new station and the Jernbanetorget transport hub. The hall that the hitel is part of has a wide vafiety of reataurants and cafés, as well as the Oslo tourist office. Bjørvika (the opera boise, the Munch museum and the beach) is only 150m away. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is conveniently located at the central train station. We took the train from the airport (20 minute ride) and the hotel entrance is located within the train station. Super convenient. It’s also centrally located in downtown Oslo. Great shopping and restaurants r within a couple minute walk. Although not luxurious, the room and hotel are clean and the bed was very comfortable. Super friendly staff and a nice breakfast buffett. Would highly recommend

Property is quiet. Breakfast offered a variety of foods & drinks. Our room was comfortable. We were did not have to go outdoors to access the train station… We were two stories from train station. A variety of dining & shopping is steps away.

Great experience. So easy to access from inside the train station. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Has a slightly hip, industrial hostel vibe, but provides all of the niceties of a standard 3-star hotel with a super convenient location.

Great location and easy to get around the city centre and sights from here. It was convenient having food hall in same building after long flight. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast had a lot of options and food was fresh.

We booked two rooms and paid this hotel for convenience to visit Opera House and Train Station. We arrived at the hotel around 3am due to flight cancellations and delay from Los Angeles. The front desk told us one of our paid two rooms was sold. That's a STEAL from us ! I requested to speak to on duty manager. The front desk said NO. They moved us to another cheaper hotel in the COLD morning hours. Your paid rooms shall be reserved even you don't show up ! Never again at Comfort Hotel Grand Central.

The location is the best thing about this hotel. It's attached to the Central Train Station in Oslo, so it is super convenient to get to and from just about anywhere. Inside the train station are plenty of dining options and places to shop. Then, the hotel is located at the beginning of the main street, Karl Johan Gate. So you can easily walk anywhere you need to in Central Europe. The only reason I didn't give the hotel 5 stars is the size of the rooms were uncomfortably small. So small it was hard to move around the room. The free breakfast was incredible.

It was Christmas, Everything was closed. But we fetched up at the hotel and found it charming and well designed. We were made very welcome and we loved our big room with a terrific view through very grand windows. Comfy bed and a lovely big wet room for showering in. Great location for all the walkable sights around town and for jumping on a train or a trams to go further. Excellent breakfasts every morning too! Heartily recommended.

Easy to get to using the airport train, you don't even have to go outside. But do try the bar at the bottom of the stairs going to the station, some great local beers and food.

Very convenient...right in train station. Read other reviews who noted it was loud above train station. We heard nothing! Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had so much to choose from. Great stay!

I used to stay at airport hotels the night before a morning flight. This is so close to GOTOJET you might as well be at the airport. More hotel for the money.

Was only here overnight due to a long layover and I enjoyed my time here. It was easy to walk to places to get food and legit right next to the train station that takes you right into the airport. Can’t complain about that. But the highlight was the receptionist. Amazing receptionist and it’s obvious to see she’s incredible at her job. Not sure her name. But I know she has dark hair.

Ok, it is what it is for a hotel connected to a central train station. Yes it is convenient for early morning or late night trains but Oslo is a very walkable city and there are nicer hotels in the same price category just an additional 5 minutes further. To find the hotel go to the front of the train station as if you are exiting but before you do, look for Karl Johan Gate exit (there are two so don’t take the first one nearest the tracks). Walk until just before exiting and it is on the left. Alternatively if you find yourself outside the train station facing the train station there is an external door on the right hand side of the building facing the opera house. Inside of the hotel it is a bit of a maze and although I’m usually good with locations, I found myself confused several times trying to find my room. I know this is going to sound petty but the room numbers are spray painted on the walls - I know they were going for urban chic, but given the location, the appearance is more like finding your room in a prison. The breakfast buffet was ok but nothing to write home about.

Excellent location in the same building as the central station (Oslo S). Very convenient if using the trains as we did (for our arrival and a day trip to Flam). We had two superior rooms on the 3rd floor. The rooms were a decent size and clean. There are no cupboards, just some limited hangers. We had breakfast only 1 day (Saturday) of a 4 day stay. Good spread but crowded with no tables available.
