I was confused by the self-check-in process at this hotel, but there was a friendly staff member available to help me out. There is a workstation to use for checking in, and you scan to create your own keycard.
I reserved the “Economy Double Room (Small)” and it was, indeed, quite small. There was a phone in the room but none of the other common amenities (e.g. safe, refrigerator, microwave). There was no closet but there were hooks on the walls for hanging clothes. The walk-in shower was only half covered by a glass partition and it was hard to keep water from spraying into the bathroom. We found the bed to be quite comfortable.
A breakfast buffet is available but wasn’t included in our rate. We were told that it is less costly to pay for breakfast the day before, which is what we did. The buffet had a nice selection of hot and cold dishes. We enjoyed it.
The location was very good for us. There are a number of interesting restaurants within a block or two of the hotel, and there is a train station just a short walk away. The hotel is also close to tourist attractions such as the Royal Palace and the National Theatre. There is also a nearby stop for the hop-on-hop-off bus.
All of the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.
