This is a very busy hotel! Curiously there are 5 steps up to access the lifts. Room service dinner was excellent. The Cafe menu was OK, the restaurant difficult to get into. Good bars on the ground floor and roof. Good and helpful concierge and luggage storage. It was always very busy in and around reception where the space is limited. Breakfast in the cafe was chaotic - a buffet with good variety but so busy!

You can feel the historical relevance of this hotel from the moment you walk in. Very "city center" feeling, but the room offered a comfortable quiet oasis. I found myself thinking, "if only these staircases could tell stories". Spotless and spacious rooms. I am also a sucker for a nice hotel bathtub, so I deeply appreciated that touch too. In short, a very elevated and unforgettable experience Grand Hotel Oslo!

This is really a grand hotel. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was large and luxurious and its location, a short walk to the harbor, train station, restaurants and museums couldn’t be better. In addition the roof top bar was fun.
