"We have stayed at this hotel a few times & the front desk staff are the best!! I wish I knew the name of the woman who always remembers us when we walk in! She is just the sweetest person! She even remembers the reason we go to Lawrence so often! The other people at the hotel are very nice, as well. But, she goes above & beyond! The hotel is always clean & quiet. It's updated and comfortable!"

"Breakfast was good, check in was fairly quick. We have stayed at this property before and the rooms in the main hotel were okay. This time, we had a room in the north tower. The elevators were down so the only elevator available was a small service elevator that only had access through a long, dark ( no lights on) hallway. When we got to our room, only one lamp worked and the other flickered and only worked sporadically for about 10 seconds. The remote for the tv would only work when it was pointed at just the right angle. The bathroom ceiling was peeling and the bathtub drain was rusted. The bed mattresses were well worn and I kept rolling to the middle of the bed. The room had new wallpaper and the carpet was clean. "

"Check in was smooth. Breakfast was as expected. The room itself was fine, but the entire first floor hallway smelled musty, and the hot tub was closed and pool deck did not appear extremely clean. Our bathroom and the lobby bathroom were both less than desirable with either rest or mildew along all the fixtures. Also, there were spiders in our bathroom."

"Stay here often. For State wrestling and softball tournaments. Offers separate bedrooms for people who need to go to be early. Has wash machine and dryers in room with full size fridge and stove. These rooms are apartments and makes things so much more comfortable."
