Amazing hotel with wonderful staff

Loved my stay here, dinner in restaurant was amazing and breakfast outstanding. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Even gave us a lift to train station so we could eat breakfast. Outstanding.

This was our sixth stay at the Bussola as Orta is somewhere we visit regularly. For the first time in a few visits we ate here too. We had forgotten how good the food is and having dinner and on the terrace overlooking the lake is the perfect location to enjoy it. We had a lovely stay here and had the buffet breakfast in the morning, extremely central and only a 10 minute walk from the port and the train station. Felt like a very cosy and safe place, even had some board games available which we played

went out to stresa for my birthday as had never been for a short break. easily reached by alibus or train to stresa itself. great location, so beautiful loads to see and do. boats so easily available to taxi you about to other resorts on lake but so glad to of stayed in stresa. with the lake and views as far as you can see and the alps in distance lit up by the sun when it was out there nothing to do buy chill out, explore and soak up the scenery with lots of food and drink. hotel is 5 mins...

Everything worked well from the ease of checking in to the upgraded room overlooking the lake to the excellent, responsive staff. The visit was a delight from start to finish. Of particular note were the arrangements for breakfast and the extreme helpfulness and resourcefulness of the members of the concierge team. Can't speak highly enough of them.

We have just returned from a week at the Antico Verbana apartments and can thoroughy recommend them. The staff on reception are pleasant and respond to your requests quickly. We arrived at 7pm in the evening so as information on the website says there were no staff on duty, but the envelope with our keys to the apartment were on the reception desk waiting for us. The hotel self was nice and the staff were very friendly. They gave me tips etc. And helped me through my stay. The shuttle bus was very convenient when you travel via MXP. They will pick you up when you arrived. My room was very spacious and clean! With all the amenities. The restaurant was sublime and friendly staff. I would recommend you to get your dinner here. Traveling to the city is better with the train to Milano Porta Garibaldi. When you are there you can pick the tram, metro or bus...

Good hotel, large clean room with small balcony. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice. Plenty of parking space including a large underground garage. On our visit internet speed was quite slow. Overall very good value!

The welcome when we arrived was lovely. The rooms and facilities are very good, comfortable bed and nice shower and bathroom. Breakfast is varied and delicious. Nothing negative about the hotel.

Great location in Angera for this 3 star hotel. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming and it felt like a family-run establishment. It was a little rough around the edges in places (e.g. minibar fridges could do with a good clean), but overall a very pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Angera!

Our second visit. We brought the family with us. Two young granddaughters loved the indoor & outdoor swimming pools. Breakfast excellent! Hopefully we will return again.

Except from being distant to city center everything was perfect. Better to have car or plan ahead transportation

Great stop over. Clean, quiet and spacious room. Very convenient for the airport and also train/bus to Milan. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.
