I don't know why I'd stay anywhere else when visiting Orlando. Two bed, two bath apartment,$180/night? Close to Disney, restaurants, and far enough west to be able to avoid I4? Please, no brainer. This is it.

The issue we had was the lack of WiFi. Made our stay not so great we had to travel everywhere to find service since I had some work todo. And I was charged 50.00 for an information meeting I could not go to.

Highly recommend this property over other options in the area. Close to theme parks and shopping. When we first checked in we were assigned a very old unit (in Cypress Circle). The carpets were old and the bathrooms were dated - not like the pictures we saw online. We went back to the Registration Desk and spoke with Daniel who switched us to a newly renovated condo located in a building in the Tennis Villa Circle. Daniel was so helpful and kind - and made our stay much more pleasant.

They are extremely pushy when you check in to become a part of the time share portion of the resort. They also lied about something wildly silly to try to advertise, which is that you can see Animal Kingdoms Tree of Life from the lazy river.

Had stayed at this property before, but the recent upgrades and maintenance is refreshing. Check in service was fast and Jayle was amazing, friendly and informative. Villa was comfortable and our family was so happy with our stay. We are looking forward to returning.

The room was clean but kitchen was not equiped with updated appliances. Toaster and coffee maker were very old and didn't work correctly. limited towels in bathrooms and no place to hang towels, linens were rough. It felt like the room needed to be refreshed. We stayed at River Island where I have stayed 4 times before. The inner tubes were not easy to be used and that seemed to be apparent as few people used them . The experience was not as pleasant as my other trips. Food was poor at the restaurants at River Island but the West Village restaurant had good food and service and the pool was wonderful .

Horrendous rooms - smell of old, moldy locker rooms with stains on carpets. The furniture, appliances, decor, and utensils are at least 20 years old and poor condition. The staff for check in were great but the rest of the staff are careless, rude, and unhelpful. We called right away about the unlivable conditions of our room - seriously, so bad we couldn’t breath. A non-English speaking lady came and sprayed a green liquid from a hardware bottle that smelled like a strong bleach chemical. Our new room was no better except the smell was only an old moldy air conditioner - an improvement but not enough to make us consider our first room was a fluke. We stayed at this resort 5 times now. The last three experiences have gotten progressively worse. This was our final stay at Orange Lake. We highly recommend you stay somewhere else. Lastly, they pressure you into their time share. They say it only takes 90 minutes, but we did it three times and it takes 3-4 hours before you have to accuse them of holding you hostage before they let you go. Seriously, they send 4-5 closers to ultra-pressure you into buying the lowest time-share package. Don’t stay here…don’t get mad if you decide not to listen to us.

This property was a great place to stay. Big resort! Many pools to choose from on the property. Just keep in my if you go to the Island Resort where the lazy river is located leave get up early and find a place to sit there. When I say packed it gets packed. But overall it’s a nice place to stay! We enjoyed it!

They had great poolside games and the nicest staff ever. Popcorn on weekends, friendly staff and amazing pools. Only problem I had was getting lost a lot. There are several ways to get in. Choose the wrong one at night and uh-oh!

There was a decent wait for check-in and then the staff tried to sell me on a time share. This was difficult after a full day of travel with toddlers. After check-in everything was great. The grounds were beautiful and close to many amenities.

My family and I we stayed at the Holiday Inn couple times. We love the place so much activities for kids. I requested a 12:00pm late checkout but the housekeepers kept harassing us from 10:30am until 11:50am to leave the room. That’s unacceptable I paid to much money to stay there for a week and to be harassed by housekeepers.

Place was nice. Had plenty to do - however everything has a cost. Hallways are worn out - not dirty just worn out. same with the rooms. The one weird thing is with the towels, There are no pool towels so you have to learn to live with the 4 towels they give you. You have to wash and dry them on your own. we just went and bought ourselves more towels. if not you will find yourself doing wash every night which is another issue - 4 washer and dryers on a floor with i don't know how many rooms. Plus they were always broken or something was wrong. Other then that we had a great time.

Beautiful property. Nice amenities. The villa was spacious and had everything you need for an extended stay. Didn’t enjoy the time share push. It felt aggressive to the extent that it caused stress and if I had of been shopping for a timeshare this would have turned me off. We felt the approach was almost con like.

The run we got was about 2 miles from the lazy River. It was very inconvenient to get in car and drive there and the parking. Then to drive back to the room and find parking close not to walk so far. There was a pool close to our room but it was smaller and it was hot! The water was too hot to be relaxing in the heat. They should let people know that the run they book may not be close to the amenities they want to use. They do offer a shuttle service but I was told it comes every half hour and we didn't want to wait in the heat so we drove ourselves around. The toilet was broken and was running constantly. We turned off the water to save it from being wasted. The maid was knocking on our door at 9am asking when we were leaving??? Can't they wait until check out time to start bothering people? I won't be coming back to this facility. They are way to many options in the area at that price point to settle.

Great property close to everything Orlando. This was our 2nd year returning here and had the same great experience as the 1st time. Great for families because units are like townhouses…full kitchen with all utencils, dish detergent/sponge/etc, dishwasher with pods, washer/dryer with complimentary powder detergent, each bedroom has its own full bathroom with shower or bathtub, pool towels are in the closet,

Villa was not clean. Staff not all helpful. Placed by side of road which was very noisy and woke my family up all night long. Lawns mowed at 5am which also woke up family.
